Who are we? VDL De Meeuw is an industrial construction partner for real estate. We help real estate companies make large-scale construction projects scalable and feasible. We combine almost 100 years of knowledge and experience with engineering expertise, scalable production capacity and the industrial strength of VDL Groep. We produce 3D building components for our partners’ construction projects. We collaborate with architects, property developers, urban developers and construction companies. This enables them to scale up faster without making major investments in their own factories or production capacity. Our 3D building components are manufactured under controlled conditions, at a production rate of more than 500 m² per day. This provides greater control over quality, planning, costs and material use. It also reduces on-site work, transport movements and labour requirements. From development and production to realization, we help make larger construction volumes achievable faster and more efficiently. We are also a supplier of Flexgoed: adaptable and relocatable buildings for housing, healthcare, education and work. These buildings can change in size, function or location during their lifetime. After use, we refurbish modules and materials for their next phase of use. This allows buildings to retain their social and economic value for longer. Strength through collaboration.
